Vic: Fire in inner city Melbourne office block

MELBOURNE, Feb 29 AAP - A fire in a central Melbourne office block today caused damage
worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to electrical equipment, firefighters said.

The fire began about 3.45pm (AEDT) in a room on the ground floor of the five storey
office block at 405 Bourke Street.

Six firetrucks and 30 firefighters contained the fire within 40 minutes.
