Fed: Nauru says invitation for Australian doctors remains open

Nauru has denied it's banned a group of Australian doctors from visiting the island
and says an invitation for an independent medical team to assess health services remains
open.

A team of Australian doctors say they've suspended their trip to Nauru -- scheduled
for Monday -- after the country's director of medical services KIEREN KEKE withdrew his
invitation for them to assess the health care of asylum seekers on the island.
