Qld: Woman charged with killling brother granted bail

An 18-year-old woman charged with the stabbing murder of her 15-year-old brother has
been granted bail in a Cairns court.

MARGARET OLIVE MILES, of Bayview Heights, appeared in the Cairns Supreme Court today
charged with killing DUDLEY MILES on December 13.

Defence counsel STEPHEN O'REILLY said the court was satisfied MILES was not an unacceptable risk.

MILES is due to reappear in the court on February 27.

Police allege DUDLEY was stabbed in the chest.

MILES had been held in custody since her arrest.
