Qld: Greenpeace wants Stuart shale project closed

BRISBANE, Feb 22 AAP - Queensland's Stuart oil shale project could release more than
40kg of toxic dioxin over its expected life if it became a full-scale commercial operation,
environmental group Greenpeace said today.

In a report on the experimental project near Gladstone on the central Queensland coast,
Greenpeace said it could become Australia's largest source of the toxic pollutant.
